Lighting, Electrical Fixture Applications Grow

Across the Greater China region, light sources and lighting and electrical fixtures will continue to expand beyond conventional applications in 2008. This comes amid fierce competition that is spurring suppliers to explore markets with strong profit potential.

Products will last longer and offer greater energy savings, making them suitable for use even in commercial or industrial settings. More light sources designed as replacements of incandescent bulbs and compact fluorescent lamps will be released.

Aesthetics will get a boost as traditionally all-white electrical fixtures are redesigned to feature fancy, colored exteriors.
