Haier And Intel Will Co-Build The Future Through Comprehensive Cooperation

On the midday of November 1, the "signing ceremony for the comprehensive strategic cooperation between Haier and Intel -To Co-build the future through chip cooperation" was stately held in Grand Hyatt Beijing Hotel.
 
The moment when Zhang Ruimin, CEO of the Haier Group and Paul Otellini, President and CEO of Intel Corporation tightly held their hands together has inaugurated the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the oriental Haier and the occidental Intel, both being major world-renowned multinational brands. Mr. Ian Yang,Vice President of INTEL and General Manager of Great China, and Gao Yicheng, acting person in charge of Haier Computer PL, signed a memorandum of understanding for the comprehensive strategic cooperation.

It is reported that the memorandum of understanding involves the strategic cooperation on various innovative products such as mobile Internet devices, communication equipment and digital appliance, and network appliance, and the cooperation on the computer-increasing program in the rural areas of China etc. This combination has been named as "Hi Strategic Alliance", in which the word "Hi" is originated from the initials of Haier and Intel. Hi Strategic alliance is characterized by the "high" level with high-end strategic cooperation and highly complementary advantages.

Zhang Ruimin and Paul Otellini addressed respectively on the Haier-Intel cooperation. Zhang remarked that the cooperation between Haier and Intel is to co-build the future, i.e. to jointly build a fresh future in China; that is to say, by employing both Intel technology and brand influence and marketing channels of Haier in China, create a new future." Paul Otellini said that as two most renowned brands of high credibility, Intel and Haier are working together to bring the most excellent products and most advanced solutions and innovations to Chinese consumers.
